Senator Fraser Anning, Senator for Queensland

  • Marched with around 6000 people, in support of life; pledging that if given the balance of power KAP will ensure that no harm comes to the most vulnerable in our society.  (pictures attached)
  • Met with Nigel Farage, former leader of UKIP, the man often cited as the reason and success behind Brexit. (picture attached)

Bob Katter, Federal Member for Kennedy

  • Attended the Herberton Flower Show to see the display of flowers and artwork
  • Attended the Atherton Maize Festival
  • Attended the Tolga Markets alongside Shane Knuth and met up with locals such as Shirley Doull from the Tablelands
  • Stood alongside State MP’s at Parliament in Brisbane in condemning the actions of Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk in firing 4 hard working resource staff

Robbie Katter, State Member for Traeger

  • Welcomed news that more than $150,000 had been allocated to Charters Towers community groups as part of Round 96 of Community Gambling Benefit Fund
  • Spent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Queensland Parliament defending Queenslander’s right to free speech and acting on behalf of his constituents
  • Appeared on Sky News, The Project and the Peta Credlin to discuss issues ranging from the right to free speech to the Great Barrier Reef and Prickly Acacia.
  • Took local Mount Isa boy Dan Murr for a tour around Parliament House before he headed off to Afghanistan to serve his country

Shane Knuth, State Member for Hill

  • Attended the Herberton Flower Show to see the display of flowers and artwork
  • Attended the Atherton Maize Festival
  • Attended the Tolga Markets alongside Bob Katter and met up with locals such as Shirley Doull from the Tablelands
  • Represented constituents in Parliament Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Re-introduced the fair price milk logo bill

 

Nick Dametto, State Member for Hinchinbrook

  • Attended a Brisbane hearing for the Inquiry into wage theft in Queensland this week as part of the Education, Employment and Small Business Committee on Monday
  • Paid his respects at the Armistice Centenary Information Stand on Tuesday and highlighted the plight of the sugar industry in North Queensland during a speech in parliament later that day.
  • Appealed to Health Minister Steven Miles to consider establishing a financial subsidy for wigs for alopecia sufferers under the Queensland Health Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme in parliament on Wednesday.
